Medina
Just outside the walls of the old Medina, the origin of the greyish white metropolis that is Casablanca, lies a small park. Datura lilies hang heavy from the trees, like upside down trumpets, filling the afternoon air with a unique spiced scent. Through thousand-year-old cracks in the city wall even more spices and the smell of honey. The sun sets and the secret lovers who embrace each other on exhausted stone benches turn pink.
